Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation (GH) and Dongbu Construction opened the model home for Gwanggyo Nature & Centerville on the 30th and began sales in Gwanggyo New Town, Suwon, Gyeonggi Province. The nine-building complex in Woncheon-dong, Yeongtong-gu, has 600 households across two basement levels and 20 above-ground floors, including 360 units of 84㎡ public sale housing and 240 units of 59㎡ equity accumulation-type housing. Under the equity accumulation-type system, buyers initially acquire 25% of a home’s equity and purchase the remainder in 20% portions during the fifth, 10th and 15th years, followed by the final 15% in the 20th year. Additional purchases use a predetermined interest rate applied to the initial sale price, while residents pay usage fees for the public equity they have not yet acquired. A lease deposit or partial conversion to monthly rent is available. The homes carry a five-year mandatory residency period and a 10-year resale restriction. Applications start November 9 with special supply, followed by first-priority applications on November 10 and second-priority applications on November 11. Winner announcements and contract periods differ by housing type, with public-sale winners announced November 17 and contracts from December 21 to 23, while equity accumulation-type winners are announced November 18 and contracts run from January 25 to 27, 2027.
