SK Inc. will sell its entire 100% stake in SK Signet, an electric-vehicle fast-charger and charging-solutions maker, to EV charging platform company SK Electlink. SK disclosed on the 30th that it had signed a share purchase agreement for the sale. The deal is valued at up to 200 billion won ($140 million), comprising 75 billion won at closing and as much as 125 billion won in additional payments if SK Signet meets specified earnings targets in 2028 and 2029. SK Electlink is an EV charging platform company acquired from SK Networks last year by global private equity firm Anchor Equity Partners. SK had previously conducted two tender offers to protect SK Signet’s minority shareholders. For the remaining 2.2% stake, SK plans to pay 8,200 won per share in cash, matching the tender-offer price, and convert SK Signet into a wholly owned subsidiary.
