Hong Kong-based private-equity firm PAG has agreed to acquire a 51.02% stake in Evergrande Property Services from China Evergrande and CEG Holdings through Everest Holdings I Limited for HK$4.03 billion, or US$513 million. The transaction would make PAG the property-management unit’s controlling shareholder and represents the largest asset sale to date by the liquidators of collapsed China Evergrande Group. Evergrande Property Services, listed under stock code 6666, announced the agreement on October 30 after a one-day trading suspension. The company was down 7.17% in the filing’s market-data display.
