Aspen Neuroscience priced its initial public offering at $15 per share, selling 9,375,000 common shares for expected gross proceeds of approximately $140.6 million before offering expenses. The clinical-stage regenerative-medicine biotechnology company, which develops autologous cell therapies using a patient’s own cells, is scheduled to begin trading on The Nasdaq Global Select Market on Oct. 30, 2026, under the ticker ASPE, with the offering expected to close on Nov. 2, subject to customary conditions. Aspen’s registration statement became effective with the SEC on Oct. 29, 2026, and underwriters received a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,406,250 additional shares. Its lead candidate, sasineprocel, is a one-time therapy derived from autologous induced-pluripotent stem cells that are converted into dopamine-producing neurons for patients with Parkinson’s disease. The company is studying the treatment in an open-label Phase 1/2a trial of patients with moderately advanced disease and plans to begin a Phase 3 study by the end of next year, ahead of long-term data expected in 2028. Aspen said early data indicated potential functional improvements and a favorable safety profile, while cautioning that its clinical development plans and offering details include forward-looking statements subject to risks and uncertainty. The company is also preparing a second cell therapy for pediatric leukodystrophies for preclinical testing.
