Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn) (TWSE: 2317; 2317.TW) unveiled three electric-vehicle reference designs at its seventh annual Hon Hai Tech Day 2026 (HHTD26) in Taipei, expanding its portfolio to 12 models. The MODEL A+ is a premium-oriented SUV aimed at the growing B segment, while the MODEL K+ targets younger buyers with an affordable, neo-urban design inspired by Japanese city-pop culture. The MODEL K is a compact commercial kei truck for last-mile services and other specialized mobility uses. The vehicles support Foxconn’s contract design and manufacturing services (CDMS), offering automaker partners flexible platforms intended to reduce development time, cost and technology-access barriers. HHTD26 also featured 321 exhibits across AI computing, manufacturing, robotics, electromobility and smart technologies, with a Token Factory zone covering one-quarter of the displays and demonstrations including NVIDIA Vera Rubin infrastructure, advanced power and cooling systems, co-packaged optics, high-speed data and an 800 VDC power-distribution system. Foxconn’s electromobility showcase included battery development from materials through cells, packs and battery-management systems, vehicle electrical and electronic architecture, and powertrains for electric two- and three-wheelers. A right-hand-drive MODEL B demonstrated the CDMS collaboration, while Honda R&D and Mitsubishi Electric Mobility presented separate electromobility developments with Foxconn.
