Vantage Markets is expanding V-Card, its V-Wallet-linked card service, to let eligible users spend transferred balances at merchants accepting the relevant card network. Purchases may include travel bookings, online shopping, restaurants and digital services, subject to activation, eligibility, identity checks, spending limits, applicable fees, exchange rates and regional program terms. The expansion follows Vantage's May launch of a virtual card for CFD traders, which the company described as a sector first, and extends the offering beyond financial-market trading. Vantage works with Thredd on card-service infrastructure covering identity verification, payment authentication and fraud-risk management. V-Card is available only in supported jurisdictions; third parties provide the cards and payment services, and Vantage does not issue cards or provide payment services. The card cannot fund margin, leveraged or derivatives trading, while CFDs carry a high risk of rapid losses because of leverage.
