HIZENERGY presented its ENERBOX commercial and industrial battery energy storage system (C&I BESS) portfolio in Frankfurt, Germany, on Oct. 30, 2026, addressing Europe’s growing need for grid flexibility as solar generation expands, duck-curve effects intensify and negative day-ahead electricity prices become more frequent. Falling system costs are also improving the economics of behind-the-meter storage for factories, industrial parks and commercial premises. The all-in-one AC-coupled system delivers 125 kW of power and either 261 kWh or 313 kWh of energy capacity, with multiple cabinets connectable in parallel. It supports grid-connected, off-grid and seamless grid-to-off-grid operation, while enabling photovoltaic self-consumption, peak shaving, energy arbitrage, ancillary and system-services markets, and critical-load backup. HIZENERGY said its units pass UL 9540A safety testing, can be fully commissioned on site within two hours and are deployed across Europe. The Netherlands serves as its regional hub, alongside 12 customer-service locations across the continent. HIZENERGY also cited 16 years of in-house power-conversion-system development, a BloombergNEF Tier 1 ranking and TÜV SÜD bankability certification.
