Triskell Software has launched Triskell 2026 SP2, expanding artificial-intelligence capabilities across project portfolio management (PPM) and strategic portfolio management (SPM). The release supports portfolio analysis, task automation, resource optimization and natural-language interaction with project data. Its AI Assistant can generate summaries and charts, identify capacity constraints, create project objects, update timesheets, generate SQL queries, configure business rules, and translate or summarize content. The update also introduces Triskell MCP Server, based on Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard connecting AI applications with external systems. Compatible assistants can query project information, analyze portfolios and perform actions such as creating objects and recording work hours through a conversational interface. Triskell has added an AI knowledge base using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), Custom AI Skills for business-specific instructions and analyses, and data-security controls that can exclude sensitive attributes from information shared with external models. Customers can choose Triskell's integrated OpenAI provider or compatible providers including Anthropic, Google Gemini and Mistral. CEO Ángel García said the tools are intended to reduce repetitive work and give users more time for analysis and value-creating decisions, while the MCP Server extends access to Triskell information beyond its traditional interface.
