A hacker linked to the Binance attack moved approximately 120 million TRX, worth about $38.78 million, through multiple wallets before distributing the funds to other addresses. The transaction was completed today at 04:01 Turkish time, moving funds from an address beginning TL2F4G to one beginning TRBdWq. OnchainLens described repeated automated transfers between attacker-linked wallets, including returns to previously used addresses, as a money-laundering operation intended to complicate tracking, while noting that cryptocurrency mixers were not yet used extensively. Bitquery identified similar movements involving TRX, ETH, USDT and BTC, including conversions through SunSwap and an estimated $119 million loss against market prices. Binance said approximately $3 billion in assets had been frozen on-chain.
