Web3 security data infrastructure provider GoPlus (GPS) said on Oct. 31 that Flap and Kintsu’s official websites were compromised in a DNS hijacking attack, with more than 10 domains reportedly affected. Malicious clone sites prompted visitors to connect wallets and sign transactions sending BNB to an attacker or approving ERC-20 token spending. Flap and Kintsu restored their websites, while StonkFun separately restored its website after a domain attack and infrastructure move, saying its onchain functions were operating normally and no users had been identified as affected. The cause of the DNS hijacking remains under investigation.
