Pepeto said its presale exceeded $11.27 million during a volatile week for crypto markets, as a reported Binance hack sent Bitcoin to a six-week low of $76,100 before it rebounded to about $77,500. Bitcoin had previously failed to recover from a rejection near $85,000, while its market capitalization stood at $1.550 trillion and its market dominance was just below 60%. The broader crypto market capitalization fell to $2.6 trillion, about $80 billion below pre-hack levels. BNB recovered above $700, Ethereum moved above $2,200 and XRP returned to $1.55 after falling below $1.20; AAVE rose more than 6% to $133 and STX gained 11% to $0.31, while TRX, RAIN and HYPE declined. The existing promotional material says Pepeto buyers continued returning as presale stages closed, with the token priced at $0.0000001904. It cites historical exchange hacks, Bitcoin forecasts from Michael Saylor and Bernstein, and Lookonchain's identification of nine wallets that bought 1,900 BTC worth about $148 million during the decline. Pepeto says it has a working DeFi exchange, free swaps across Ethereum, BNB Chain and Solana, an AI token scanner, a completed SolidProof audit and an approaching Binance listing. Its disclaimer says the project is not providing investment, financial or trading advice and warns that investors can lose capital.
