Two Ripple-labeled wallets still held a combined 1 billion XRP on October 29 after receiving funds from four escrow-finishing transactions on October 1. Another 1 billion XRP is scheduled to become releasable at 00:00 UTC on Sunday, November 1, 2026, potentially raising the amount associated with the two closely watched accounts to 2 billion XRP. The wallets, identified by XRPScan as Ripple 10 and Ripple 11, each received 500 million XRP in October and recorded no subsequent outgoing XRP payment during the period examined. The release could increase XRP’s available market supply but does not establish that all the tokens will be sold. Ripple generally returns a substantial portion of unlocked XRP to escrow while retaining some for operations, liquidity and ecosystem activities; funds also require a valid EscrowFinish transaction before they can move. Ripple still has approximately 31.4 billion XRP locked across 98 escrow objects. Coinpaper reported that about 700 million XRP was re-escrowed after October’s gross release, leaving a net reduction of roughly 300 million XRP in locked supply. XRP also faced October selling pressure, with 6.05 billion XRP moving onto trading platforms over 30 days, although deposits do not prove completed sales. Cumulative XRP ETF investments exceeded $1.8 billion, but institutional demand weakened as ETF holdings fell in value alongside XRP. Ripple’s expanding institutional custody and payment businesses do not necessarily create immediate demand for XRP.
