On Nov. 1, Genius, an on-chain trading terminal, announced an expanded role for its $GENIUS token through a revenue-linked buyback-and-burn mechanism (repurchasing and permanently removing tokens) and new holder benefits. Part of Genius App revenue will be used to buy $GENIUS from the market and permanently destroy it. Holders will be eligible for fee discounts in the Genius App and other applications, while users holding at least 1,000 $GENIUS can receive verification as top-tier Genius users inside the app and may qualify for future airdrops and other in-app benefits. Genius previously launched a mobile application combining BNB Chain trading, social features and token creation.
