HIZENERGY presented its commercial and industrial battery energy storage system (C&I BESS) portfolio in Frankfurt on Nov. 1, 2026, as Europe manages rising solar generation, the duck-curve effect and more hours of negative prices in the day-ahead electricity market. The ENERBOX flagship series supports grid-connected, offline and seamless transfer between the two operating modes. Its all-in-one AC-coupled cabinet delivers 125 kW and 261 kWh or 313 kWh of storage, with additional capacity available by connecting cabinets in parallel. The systems are designed for photovoltaic self-consumption, peak shaving, energy arbitrage, ancillary-services markets and critical-load backup. HIZENERGY said the units meet UL9540A safety testing requirements and can be fully commissioned on site within two hours. The company has installations across Europe, with the Netherlands serving as its central European hub and hosting a regional office, warehouse and largest after-sales service center, alongside 12 after-sales locations across the continent. HIZENERGY also cited 16 years of experience developing proprietary power conversion systems, a BloombergNEF Tier1 rating and TÜVSÜD bankability certification.
