Chinese electric-vehicle startups disclosed their October 2026 delivery results on Nov. 1, with XPENG reporting a record 50,237 vehicles, up 22% from September and 20% from a year earlier. Xiaomi Auto also exceeded 50,000 deliveries, while Li Auto reported 29,000 vehicles. XPENG's overseas deliveries reached 13,326 units, a monthly record and a 166% year-over-year increase. The company launched the XPENG L05 in the Chinese mainland, with deliveries scheduled to start Nov. 1, and received a demonstration operation license for Level 4 Robotaxi services in Guangzhou. XPENG said the license moves its Robotaxi program from technology validation toward real-world operational and business model validation. The company also received MSCI's highest ESG AAA rating for a fourth consecutive year and estimated that vehicles delivered from January through October would reduce life-cycle greenhouse gas emissions by more than 5.77 million tons compared with internal combustion engine vehicles.
