Hyundai Motor has launched a new Hyundai Certified Used Car service that expands disclosures for certified used-car buyers, including consent-based driving scores, official maintenance records and more detailed electric-vehicle battery diagnostics. The safety driving score uses Hyundai Bluelink data to assess sudden acceleration, sudden deceleration, sudden starts and late-night driving over 1,000 kilometers during the previous 90 days. Buyers can review Blue Safety Inspections and key consumable replacement records from Hyundai's Blue Hands and High-Tech Centers. EV reports now include high-voltage battery state of health, cell-level voltage and temperature deviations, and cumulative charging and discharging records. Hyundai also conducts inspections covering 272 items for Hyundai vehicles and 287 for Genesis vehicles, and replaces major consumables before sale. The company said the initiative builds on its certified used-car business launched in October 2023 and is intended to improve trust and buyer confidence in the used-car market.
