BitMine Immersion Technologies added 8,573 ETH during the week before Nov. 1, 2026, raising its holdings to 6,060,506 ETH, or 4.9% of Ethereum’s 122.2 million-token supply. The position was worth about $13.7 billion at a reference price of $2,261, putting BitMine 99% of the way toward its 5% ownership target, the "Alchemy of 5%," which it reached in 15 months after starting weekly purchases on June 30, 2025. Ethereum fell approximately 4% after the multi-billion-dollar, approximately $6.4 billion Binance theft was announced, compared with an 8% one-day and 20% one-week decline after the $1.5 billion Bybit attack in February 2025. Chairman Tom Lee attributed the more limited reaction to Binance’s ability to cover customer losses, the absence of broader DeFi failures, rapid industry action, the FBI’s attribution to North Korea within two days, the infrastructure-focused nature of the exploit and the limited price decline. BitMine’s total holdings were $14.5 billion, including 216 Bitcoin, $498 million in cash and marketable securities, a $180 million stake in Beast Industries and an $82 million position in Eightco Holdings. It had staked 5,227,037 ETH through MAVAN, with projected annualized staking revenue of roughly $358 million, and remained the largest corporate Ethereum treasury and second-largest crypto treasury behind Strategy, which held about 848,517 BTC.
