London high-frequency trading and market-making firm LO:TECH has completed a $12 million Series A led by MMC, with participation from Faction, 13 Books Capital and new investor Atka. The company plans to use the funds to expand into New York and Singapore and develop execution services spanning traditional finance, digital assets and prediction markets. Founded by Tim Meggs, Marcus Horsley and Alex Williams, LO:TECH provides institutional-grade liquidity, market data and execution infrastructure across centralized and on-chain markets. Its platform aggregates liquidity from centralized exchanges and DeFi venues through proprietary high-frequency trading engines and virtual order books, while offering standardized real-time and historical data through WebSocket and REST APIs and execution algorithms including VWAP and TWAP. LO:TECH can execute tens of thousands of trades per second and has obtained a license as a Kalshi data distributor.
