Jito named RPC provider Triton One, asset manager Bitwise and validator company SOL Strategies as the first outside operators of nodes for its Block Assembly Marketplace, or BAM, on Solana. The three firms have installed their hardware and are completing setup before going live on testnet, marking a staged expansion beyond Jito-run infrastructure. Until now, Jito operated every BAM node on testnet and mainnet. Access for any mainnet validator remains targeted for early Q1 2027. BAM orders transactions inside trusted execution environments before validators use the resulting block construction. Jito's October data showed the system connected to 385 validators representing 37% of Solana's total network stake, or 164 million, at epoch 1050. Its BAM attestations design is intended to let validators verify transaction ordering as operations expand beyond Jito. The rollout will also need to be coordinated with Solana's Alpenglow upgrade, ahead of which mainnet BAM nodes are scheduled to enter Maintenance Mode and temporarily lose features including Direct Bundle Ingest.
