Securitize added 13 U.S. equities to its Securitize Stocks platform, bringing the reported lineup to 25 tokenized stocks after the first 12 launched on October 8, 2026. The additions include Exxon Mobil, Johnson & Johnson, Uber Technologies, Salesforce, GameStop, Walt Disney Company and other large companies. Each token is backed one-to-one by a share held in custody, with the structure providing security entitlements and associated economic and investor rights. The tokens trade on Solana, settle in USDC and receive liquidity support from Jump Trading. Securitize Markets, an SEC-registered broker-dealer and FINRA member, offers the product to eligible investors in the United States, the European Union and other jurisdictions, with trading available beyond standard U.S. market hours and plans for round-the-clock access. The expansion comes as the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation rolls out a permissioned tokenization service. StoneX analyst Mark Palmer said the DTCC initiative validates rather than directly threatens Securitize because the platforms target different market structures. Securitize's public-blockchain model is designed to connect tokenized securities with decentralized finance, while the DTCC service initially limits access to specified securities, participants and blockchain networks. Securitize trades on the NYSE under SECZ and has roughly $3.8 billion in total value locked; RWA.xyz reported that Solana's non-stablecoin real-world assets reached about $5.1 billion on November 2, 2026, with Securitize representing about $1.1 billion.
