Extended, an on-chain perpetual contract exchange developed by a team from UK fintech company Revolut, has announced tokenomics for its native XTEN token. The token will support ecosystem functions including trading fee discounts, staking rewards, additional vault yield and referral rewards. XTEN has a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens, including 300 million tokens, or 30%, for a community airdrop that will be fully unlocked at the token generation event (TGE) to reward participants in the Extended Points program. The ecosystem allocation totals 200 million tokens, comprising a 150 million-token reserve for staking-reward emissions and a 50 million-token ecosystem fund. About 21.41 million tokens in the ecosystem fund are subject to existing investor lockups, while about 28.59 million are reserved for incentives, partnerships and development. The remaining 500 million tokens are allocated to founders, the founding team and investors. No tokens unlock before month 12; founder and team tokens then vest linearly from months 13 to 48, while investors receive 25% at the month-12 cliff and vest the remainder monthly over 48 months. Extended secured a $12.5 million strategic funding round led by eToro in July 2026. The company has not announced the TGE date or the airdrop claim window. An earlier description said only 30% of the airdrop allocation would circulate at TGE, while the announced tokenomics specify that the full 300 million-token allocation unlocks then.
