After meeting her on a short-video platform, he discussed marriage with the woman after one month of online dating. She then requested money, claiming that her aunt had a brain tumor, and supplied a forged diagnosis and identity-card photograph. The man transferred more than 180,000 yuan before discovering that the supposed woman was an AI-generated fictional identity.
