Apple Inc. has begun accepting claims under a $250 million class-action settlement over allegations that it misled consumers by promoting Apple Intelligence features, including an upgraded Siri assistant, before they were available during the 2024 iPhone 16 launch period. Eligible U.S. residents who bought an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max or any iPhone 16 model between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025, may claim $25 per device, subject to a maximum payment of $95. Claims must be filed by Dec. 21, 2026, at smartphoneaisettlement.com. Apple denied wrongdoing, and payments remain subject to final court approval scheduled for Feb. 24, 2027. The claims window opened as Apple reported fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $114.48 billion and earnings of $2.10 per share, ahead of analyst estimates, while forecasting fiscal first-quarter 2027 revenue growth of 7% to 10% year over year.
