In light of the Nobitex breach, the Central Bank of Iran has restricted trading hours for all exchanges to enhance security and mitigate risks.
Following a significant cyberattack on Nobitex, Iran's Central Bank has mandated that all domestic crypto exchanges limit trading hours from 10 AM to 8 PM. Nobitex suffered losses exceeding $90 million due to the breach, attributed to the hacking group Gonjeshke Darande, which has since leaked the exchange’s source code and moved Bitcoin to a cold wallet for security.
