Strategy Inc., formerly known as MicroStrategy and trading under MSTR, paid the first daily dividend on its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock, which trades on Nasdaq under STRC, on November 3, 2026. The payment was the first under revised terms approved by shareholders on October 28 with 99.3% support. STRC has a $100 stated amount and a 12% annual rate for November, equivalent to $1.00 per share for the month, distributed at approximately $0.03 to $0.04 per calendar day. Every calendar day is now a record date, including weekends and holidays, although dividends are paid only on business days. The revised mechanics do not change the dividend rate, total amount Strategy pays, investor protections or other economic terms, and are intended to reduce price swings around ex-dividend dates. Strategy can reset the rate monthly and plans to recommend keeping it at 12% until STRC demonstrates sustained, healthy trading near $100 per share. The company’s other preferred series—STRF, branded Strife; STRK, branded Strike; and STRD, branded Stride—remain on quarterly payments until adopting daily record dates on January 1, 2027. STRC previously paid twice monthly, with the last payment under the old schedule set at $0.50 per share for October 31 to holders of record on October 15. The preferred-equity program has helped Strategy raise billions of dollars for Bitcoin purchases, while its ability to maintain the 12% STRC rate remains tied to capital-raising capacity and Bitcoin exposure.
