Advanced Micro Devices Inc. forecast overall revenue growth of more than 80% in 2027, exceeding analysts’ 77% estimate, as demand for artificial-intelligence infrastructure expands across server processors and data-center AI systems. The outlook sent AMD shares up 7.3% in premarket trading and reinforced its position as the leading alternative to Nvidia in AI computing. AMD’s third-quarter Data Center revenue jumped 97% to $8.55 billion, above the $8.20 billion analyst estimate. The company expects its Data Center AI business to grow significantly more than twofold in 2027, with revenue surpassing server CPU revenue in the fourth quarter as MI450 GPUs and Helios rack-scale systems are deployed. Lisa Su said customer deployment plans have expanded, with AMD maintaining visibility into roughly 3GW of planned GPU deployments through 2027. AMD reported total third-quarter revenue of $13.377 billion, up 45% year over year, and forecast fourth-quarter revenue of about $17 billion, plus or minus 3%.
