Kahn Swick & Foti, LLC and KSF partner Charles C. Foti, Jr., former Attorney General of Louisiana, reminded Millrose Properties investors with substantial losses that they have until December 8, 2026, to petition the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida to serve as lead plaintiff in a securities class action. The case covers purchases or other acquisitions of Millrose securities between February 7, 2025, and October 2, 2026, inclusive, and alleges that the company and certain executives failed to disclose material information in violation of federal securities laws. The complaint concerns a Hunterbrook Media report published on October 2, 2026, which alleged that Millrose had purchased an estimated $200 million of finished homes from Lennar, its former parent company and largest customer, despite prior representations that it would not enter into lease agreements, and was renting those properties on the rental market, apparently at a loss. Millrose shares fell $2.10, or 8.5%, from $24.61 on October 2 to $22.51 on October 5 after the report. The action, Rubenstein et al v. Millrose Properties, Inc. et al., No. 26-cv-81386, is pending in federal court in the Southern District of Florida.
