Strategy's STRC preferred shares traded at their $100 stated amount on Nov. 4 for the first time since May 14, closing at $99.98 after about 2.1 million shares changed hands. The price matters because Strategy's policy bars new STRC issuance below $100, although reaching that level did not commit the company to resume sales. Strategy has now been estimated to have raised enough through STRC to buy more than 120 BTC, according to Bitcoin Treasuries, which said the financing channel appears active again after about 170 days. Strategy had reported no STRC sales since mid-May, when it sold 19.5 million shares for $1.95 billion in net proceeds. Its latest filing showed $17.51 billion of remaining issuance capacity. The company has repurchased about 23.07 million STRC shares for $2.25 billion, leaving $748.6 million under its buyback authorization. Strategy raised STRC's dividend rate to 12% in June and began daily dividends on Nov. 3 after shareholder approval. It previously raised $5.46 billion through STRC sales in the second quarter to buy bitcoin, ended the third quarter without new STRC issuance, and holds 849,327 BTC at an average cost of about $75,446.
