Stripe allows eligible U.S. businesses to send USDC and OUSD directly to external crypto wallets across more than 160 recipient markets through its Global Payouts product. The service remains in public preview, excludes New York-based companies, and charges a percentage-based fee, making transfer size relevant when comparing the cost with Stripe’s listed wire fee. USDC payouts are available on Arbitrum, Avalanche, Ethereum and additional networks, while OUSD payouts run on Base and Ethereum. Businesses fund transfers from Stripe Treasury balances in USD or USDC, with Stripe handling conversions without requiring separate blockchain integrations. Funds typically arrive within minutes across supported networks. Stripe described the wallet capability on October 16, 2026; an earlier account characterized the public-preview rollout as beginning in early November 2026. The feature extends Stripe’s broader stablecoin strategy, including fiat-settled stablecoin payments, Treasury balances for holding and moving stablecoins, and bank payouts that convert stablecoins into local fiat across nine currencies. Stripe resumed USDC payment support for U.S. businesses in 2024, made strategic acquisitions to strengthen its stablecoin infrastructure in 2025, and made OUSD a default option across its financial products by the end of September 2026.
