Woodside Energy outlined plans to generate more than $40 billion in adjusted operating cash flow from 2027 through 2032, supported by its Scarborough, Trion and Louisiana LNG developments. The company is targeting $400 million in annual structural cost reductions from 2028 and a dividend framework that would allocate a base 20% of adjusted operating cash flow, with another 20% potentially available through dividends, share buybacks or both. Annual sales volumes are expected to rise more than 30% from 2025 levels to about 280 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe) in 2032. The projects are expected to generate roughly $7 billion in annual adjusted operating cash flow by 2032 under a Brent oil price assumption of $70 per barrel, while cumulative cash flow could exceed $50 billion in a higher-price scenario. Woodside said the projections are indicative rather than formal guidance and depend on commodity prices and project execution. The company is also targeting a 12% to 15% return on average capital employed by the mid-2030s, investment returns above 12%, and a 30% reduction in net equity Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions intensity by 2035 against its 2025 gross equity baseline.
