Kyndryl and Amazon Web Services launched an integrated agentic modernization solution combining Kyndryl Agentic Modernization services-as-software with AWS Transform. The offering is designed to help organizations assess, plan and execute application, infrastructure and core-system modernization at scale while reducing transformation risk and building AI-ready technology foundations. Agentic AI, which performs multi-step tasks, supports software-driven workflows intended to accelerate modernization, reduce technical debt and improve operational efficiency. Kyndryl’s first global modernization report found that nearly 50% of respondents were behind schedule on their modernization goals. Among organizations that had deployed agentic AI in production for modernization, 67% said they were ahead of or on track with their goals, compared with 51% of other organizations. Kyndryl said the solution combines its Kyndryl Agentic Framework, Kyndryl Bridge and expertise in cloud, security, compliance, FinOps and mission-critical technology operations. As a launch partner for AWS Transform, Kyndryl said the collaboration is intended to help customers move from project-based modernization toward a continuous, scalable and repeatable approach.
