Hyundai Rotem is expanding financial, technical and overseas-business support for its suppliers, raising its shared-growth fund to 150 billion won ($102 million) this year, more than double the previous year. The company said it had provided 105.9 billion won to 100 suppliers by the third quarter, while expanding guarantees and unsecured low-interest loans. At its 2026 Hyundai Rotem Partners Day in Seogwipo, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, the company also outlined overseas cooperation in Australia and the United States, introduced a defense-sector performance-sharing program for parts localization (replacing imported components with local ones), and expanded training in quality, production, design, artificial intelligence and work automation. Hyundai Rotem plans to extend the performance-sharing program to commercial businesses and raise supplier training participation from 4,370 employees at 596 companies through the third quarter to more than 6,500 by year-end.
