Nubank temporarily halted cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals in Brazil on Friday, the 6th, after an external data provider experienced a failure. The provider was not identified. In a notice displayed in its app, the digital bank said customer assets and information remain protected and that its own infrastructure was not involved. Other cryptocurrency products continue operating normally. Nubank has about 120 million customers in Brazil, while the company did not disclose how many were affected.
