Strategy raised approximately $2.521 billion in July 2025 through its STRC perpetual preferred-stock offering and used the proceeds to purchase 21,021 Bitcoin. The Nasdaq-traded security has no maturity date, and its monthly dividend rate is set by Strategy’s board. Bitcoin serves as a reserve asset behind the company’s digital-credit model, while STRC offers investors defined claims and recurring cash distributions without direct Bitcoin ownership. STRC now uses daily dividend record dates, with payments made on the next business day, and its annualized dividend rate remained 12% for November. Strategy held a $4.83 billion reserve and $242.4 million in additional cash, or $5.07 billion in combined dollar assets, covering about 3.4 years of dividend and interest obligations. The company spent $204.9 million on STRC buybacks during the week ended October 25, bringing cumulative buybacks to about $2.04 billion, while its Bitcoin holdings remained 848,517 BTC. Executive Chairman Michael Saylor said the structure reflects more than four centuries of financial-market development and could potentially create $10 billion, $20 billion or $30 billion in digital credit, although that represents financing capacity rather than an announced capital raise. Strategy plans to extend daily dividend schedules to STRF, STRK and STRD from January 1, 2027, with initial payments scheduled for January 4.
