Backed by Pantera Capital, Coinbase Ventures, DCG, Ribbit, Lightspeed Faction, Pebblebed, and Topology, OpenMind announced its funding round to develop FABRIC, a decentralized OS enabling smart machine collaboration through blockchain.
According to the company’s official announcement, OpenMind, led by CEO Jan Liphardt, secured a $20M funding round on August 4, led by Pantera Capital with participation from Coinbase Ventures, DCG, Ribbit, Lightspeed Faction, Pebblebed, and Topology. The funds will support the development of FABRIC—a decentralized operating system described as 'Linux on Ethereum'—designed to enable secure, blockchain-powered coordination among smart machines.
