The Ethereum Foundation has doubled its support for Tornado Cash developer Roman Storm by pledging a total of $1M in legal defense donations following his partial conviction for operating as an unlicensed money transmitter. Confirmed via Aug. 7 posts on X, the move builds on past contributions and comes as Storm, who was not convicted on money laundering or sanctions charges, remains out on bond pending appeal.
