Data show staking climbed by 1.525 million ETH over the past year, lifting the staking share of circulating supply to nearly 30% even amid record validator exit queues.
Ethereum’s staking participation increased over the past year despite record validator exit queues since August and periods of ETH price weakness. As of press time, 35.629 million ETH is staked, compared with 34.104 million a year ago. This marks a rise of 1.525 million ETH, pushing the staking share of circulating supply to 29.45%. The lowest staking rate was recorded in March during a period of price weakness.
