Trust Wallet officially announced a partnership with Ondo Finance to integrate tokenized real-world assets, enabling its 200 million+ users to access tokenized versions of U.S. stocks and ETFs directly within the Trust Wallet app. The tokens are issued by third-party providers, including Ondo Finance, via Ethereum smart contracts that mirror the underlying asset values. Trading is facilitated through the 1inch Swap API, supporting Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Solana. According to Trust Wallet, the initiative aims to democratize access to global finance by eliminating the need for brokerage accounts, particularly benefiting users in emerging markets.
