Bhutan has integrated its National Digital Identity (NDI) platform with the Ethereum blockchain, making it the first nation to link a population-scale ID system to a public blockchain. Full migration is expected by Q1 2026, enhancing security and transparency. Ethereum Foundation's Aya Miyaguchi and Prime Minister Tobgay attended the launch ceremony.
