According to an official statement, Revolut has expanded its December 2024 Polygon integration to enable users in the UK and European Economic Area to send and receive USDC, USDT, and POL stablecoins via the Polygon blockchain. Since launch, the fintech’s 65 million customers have conducted over $690 million in Polygon-based transactions with minimal fees and near-instant settlement. This marks the first availability of USDC and USDT on Revolut’s Polygon infrastructure. Revolut joins Stripe, Flutterwave, DeCard by DCS, and Reliance Jio in leveraging Polygon for money movement, signaling growing institutional adoption of blockchain payments.
