Mitsubishi UFJ Asset Management, Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities, and Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Bank will collaborate with Progmat to create Japan’s first tokenized investment trust. Known as the Tokenized Money Management Fund, it is scheduled for 2026 and will target institutional investors. This initiative expands MUFG’s blockchain-based financial offerings and could mark a significant step toward institutional adoption of tokenized assets in Japan.
