
BitMine Immersion Technologies reports a $110 million weekly Ethereum purchase, boosting holdings to 3.48% of supply as it nears its 5% accumulation target.
In an official press release, BitMine Immersion Technologies announced acquiring 35,268 ETH, worth about $110 million, over the past week, bringing its total Ethereum holdings to 4,203,036 ETH, or 3.48% of the supply. This aligns with its goal to reach 5% of ETH’s total supply, having achieved nearly 70% of the target in six months. As of January 19, 2026, it also holds 193 BTC, $22 million in Eightco Holdings shares, $979 million in cash, and has staked 1,838,003 ETH worth $5.9 billion. Chairman Thomas "Tom" Lee highlighted ETHBTC’s steady climb amid Wall Street’s interest in Ethereum-based tokenization. ETH is currently trading at $2,999, near a crucial support zone following a 6.8% daily drop.
