Aster officially announced the launch of Aster Chain mainnet, describing it as a privacy-focused Layer-1 network for trading. According to the company’s official statement, the chain is designed to deliver more than 100,000 transactions per second with a 50 millisecond median block time. The network includes zero-knowledge verifiable encryption, stealth addresses, and selective disclosure. Aster also said a staking program will begin within a week for early supporters and liquidity providers.
