Circle and Injective announced that Injective will support native USDC issuance and integrate Circle’s Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol. The official announcement states that the rollout will allow users to transfer USDC between Injective and other supported blockchains without relying on wrapped assets or third-party bridges. Under CCTP, USDC is burned on the source chain and the same amount is minted on the destination chain, enabling native cross-chain movement of the stablecoin.
