According to Hong Kong 01, lawmakers from Hong Kong and South Korea have launched a cross-regional Web3 policy platform focused on digital assets, stablecoins, AI, blockchain connectivity, and regulatory standards.
Hong Kong legislator Johnny Ng and a South Korean lawmaker launched the Hong Kong–Korea Web3 Policy Promotion Alliance, which Hong Kong 01 described as Asia’s first cross-regional private policy cooperation platform. The initiative is focused on digital asset regulation, stablecoin mechanisms, AI development, blockchain infrastructure connectivity, and regulatory standards, aiming to strengthen policy coordination between the two jurisdictions on Web3-related issues.
