Gnosis co-founder Friederike Ernst and Zisk founder Jordi Baylina announced the Ethereum Economic Zone Rollup framework at EthCC with funding support from the Ethereum Foundation. The framework is designed to improve rollup composability while maintaining Ethereum mainnet-equivalent security and making ETH the default gas token. Initial members named in the announcement include Aave, Titan, Beaver Build, Centrifuge and xStocks.
