Bitdeer said its Norway AI project will have 180 megawatts of power capacity and primarily colocate Nvidia’s next-generation Vera Rubin platform, extending the company’s shift beyond Bitcoin mining.
Bitdeer subsidiary Tidal Data Center signed a deal with Data Center Installations to build an AI facility in Norway with 180 megawatts of total power capacity. The company said the site will mainly colocate Nvidia’s next-generation Vera Rubin AI platform, adding a key technical and scale detail to its broader push into AI and high-performance computing infrastructure. The update also states that Bitdeer sold all held BTC last month to help fund its AI business, underscoring its continued pivot away from a Bitcoin-focused operating model.
