Morgan Stanley’s spot Bitcoin ETF, MSBT, began trading on NYSE Arca on April 8, recording 1.6 million shares traded and roughly $34 million in first-day volume. The fund bought 430 Bitcoin after taking in $30.6 million in net inflows on debut, according to the report, while Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas said the launch ranked among the top 1% of ETF debuts over the past year. MSBT charges a 0.14% unitary delegated sponsor fee, lower than BlackRock’s IBIT at 0.25% and Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF at 0.15%. The report also said the broader Bitcoin ETF sector saw $124 million in outflows on the same day, with only MSBT and IBIT posting positive inflows.
