DoubleZero Foundation says Edge has entered public beta on Solana, with claimed average latency improvements of 6 milliseconds and larger gains during network congestion across Europe, the U.S., and Asia.
DoubleZero Foundation launched the public beta of Edge, a Solana data transmission platform built for lower-latency onchain data delivery. According to the foundation, Edge provides an average 6 millisecond latency advantage, and during block congestion the gains can exceed 20 milliseconds in Europe, 80 milliseconds in the U.S., and 100 milliseconds in Asia. The network launched with about 350 data publishers.
