According to KelpDAO’s official X announcement, the rsETH recovery effort reduced the initial 163,200 ETH shortfall to about 89,500 ETH, with Kelp, the Arbitrum Security Council and public backers contributing recoveries and commitments.
KelpDAO said its rsETH recovery plan has reduced the shortfall from 163,200 ETH to about 89,500 ETH. According to KelpDAO’s official X announcement, Kelp recovered 40,300 rsETH since April 18, while the Arbitrum Security Council recovered 30,700 ETH. KelpDAO also said public commitments from Mantle, Stani Kulechov, EtherFi, Lido and Golem total 43,500 ETH. The update refines the accounting for the ongoing rsETH incident, though it remains different from earlier reporting that described a 68,900 ETH shortfall after Arbitrum recovered frozen funds, so both figures remain part of the unresolved incident record.
